Two beautiful Alpine Lakes to visit in Washington's Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Mike Carey and his son hiked in for an overnight stay in this beautiful location - they even came across snow at the upper lake, Copper. It was a grueling hike with 2,000 ft of elevation gain in about 1 1/2 miles. A great father-son outing!
